BE SEEN AND BE HEARD: Leland Quarterly + Off the Page are currently accepting joint submissions! 

Leland Quarterly, the literary magazine of Stanford University, publishes prose, poetry and visual art created by Stanford students once a quarter. 

Off the Page is a podcast of stories, essays and poetry from the Stanford University writing community, produced by the Stanford Storytelling Project in collaboration with the Stanford Creative Writing Program.

Through a collaboration between Leland Quarterly and the Stanford Storytelling Project, literary works submitted through this Submittable will be considered by Leland Quarterly by default and by Off the Page if you choose to opt in. (Given that Off the Page is an audio project, it does not accept art submissions.)

Before you submit, please look over the following guidelines: 

• Leland Quarterly + Off the Page are, at this time, projects specific to the Stanford community. Leland Quarterly accepts only submissions from current Stanford students; Off the Page accepts submissions from Stanford students or faculty. Please do not submit your work if you do not fall into one of these two categories.
• Submissions are reviewed without any identifying factors. Please do not put your name, email, or any other identification in the document you upload to Submittable.
• We do not accept previously published work. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please notify us if your work is accepted anywhere else. 
• Please title your works. We will consider untitled works, but strongly prefer works that are titled. 

We appreciate your interest in Leland Quarterly and Off the Page, and will do our best to respond to you within two weeks. Additionally, although we accept submissions throughout the academic year (September-June), in order to be considered for Leland Quarterly's print editions, works must be submitted by the following deadlines: November 1 for our fall issue, February 28 for our winter issue, and May 16 for our spring issue.
